SKB was established in 1977 and has over 43 years of experience protecting what matters to you most! The company was founded by Dave Sanderson and Steve Kottman. What started out with a guitar case made in a small Anaheim, California garage has turned into a globally recognized industry leader in protective cases.
SKB manufactures most of their cases in the U.S.A. and have an excellent Lifetime Warranty.
In the very early years SKB had one major client, Fender Guitars, but started diversifying and moved into a 40,000 square foot facility in 1987. They started looking into the Military, Medical Equipment, Computer and Laser markets for growth potential and eventually expanded to a Sports Division in 1990.
Not even a decade later, they had 500 employees, four facilities and three rotational molding ovens. Fast forward another 5 years to 2002 and their cases were now Mil-Spec rated. Since then, they've continued to push the technical packaging boundaries by introducing new style cases, proprietary co-polymer materials and offering many sizes that 'fill the gaps' between other manufacturers.

A very popular series is their injection molded iSeries - with more than 60 sizes to date and they continue to release new sizes. All iSeries cases are watertight and dustproof. There are many interior options: empty, cubed foam, layered foam and padded dividers (available options vary depending on the case model)
iSeries cases feature, what SKB refers to as, the Industry's best easy-to-operate trigger latches. While choosing which latches in the industry are superior is subjective, SKB certainly has a top tier latch that competes with the best.
