Frequently Asked Questions
In our Frequently Asked Questions, we answer some of the most common questions we hear.
If you have a question, and you don't see an answer here, or need more details, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Yes we do! We have our most popular sizes of foam and divider sets listed here. For any other sizes, please contact us.
Pelican, Pelican Storm, Pelican Hardigg, and Nanuk orders over $150 qualify for shipping as long as they are being delivered to a non-rural address that's not in Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Newfoundland/Labrador. Sorry, SKB cases don't come with free shipping. For details, please refer to our complete shipping info here.
Yes. As soon as your order ships, you will receive an invoice complete with tracking information. If an item is back ordered, or if we encounter any delays, we'll let you know right away.
We encourage you to ensure you're ordering the right case for your needs (you can contact us for advice if you need it). You can, however, return cases from major manufacturers like Pelican and SKB as long as they are undamaged and in the original packaging.
It is essential that you get a Return Authorization Number (RMA) from us before you return the case, and there is a 15% restocking charge. Some cases, like custom creations, are not returnable. The full details about returns are on our Returns Policy page.
Please contact us about your project. We generally require photos and dimensions of all your equipment in order to produce a quote. You can learn more about custom inserts here.
Impossible to say! Small inserts with a single cut-out will vary in price significantly from a multiple layer insert with hundreds of pockets. It really is unique to your case and your equipment. Contact us for a quote.
If you live in the Ottawa area, we normally do an on-site needs assessment or ask our clients to visit our showroom with their equipment. If you’re located elsewhere in Canada or in the United States, we can also provide suggestions and quotes based on your own CAD drawings, PDFs, or technical specifications associated with your equipment.
Our CAD personnel work diligently with our clients to determine the best solution to your equipment protection needs. Using SolidWorks software, they are able to provide you with proven designs based on our many years of experience in the field of custom packaging solutions.
Please use our Custom Foam Request form for any projects that you may have.
It's all based on your specific requirements. The decisions we make are based on the desired method of transportation, the fragility of the cargo in question, the dimensions and weight of the equipment, and the desired case material as specified by our clients.
We generally start with the inside first. We match up your equipment with a particular foam type and density, then determine a size to best protect your valuable assets.
We will then find a case that fits your "wish list" of requirements, such as removable casters or pull handle with corner casters, roto-molded exterior, air valves, padlockable catches, TSA locks...the list is virtually endless.
If, for whatever reason, we are unable to find an off-the-shelf solution, we have in-house laminate case manufacturing.
